What you want to know…
Family Law is the focus of my practice. It involves many issues, and many people affected by each case outcome. There are important, personal problems to solve with long-term consequences to each course of action. Occasionally twists and turns that clients never consider, require creative solutions and, sometimes, tough courtroom advocacy. Each case is unique. Each case requires a counseling heart and strong attorney-client relationship. I thrive on the challenge to represent each client the way they deserve to be with practicality and realism during a difficult time.
I am licensed to practice law in both Kentucky and Ohio. I have been a licensed attorney for over 20+ years.
My office is conveniently located in Erlanger Kentucky at 463 Commonwealth Ave.
I have been interested in the law since I was young. My father, Bill Oldfield, was an honored and well-respected lawyer in Northern Kentucky for many years. I was lucky enough to get to practice law with him for many years before he died in 2003. Much of what I do as an attorney, and many of my strengths as a lawyer, I learned from him and how he dealt with his clients with respect, humility and directness. He loved practicing law and I am deeply thankful that I was able to learn the profession from him.
I graduated from Salmon P. Chase, College of Law in 1993. I have been a partner in the firms of Cobb & Oldfield; Oldfield Davidson Rieger; and Davidson Rieger Oldfield & Smith. When my firm dissolved in 2008 I opened my own solo practice to better serve my clients as a solo practitioner.
I have served as a Board Member for Kenton County for the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and I have also served one term as secretary of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association. I continue to be an active member of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and I am a member of the Family Law Committee and the Women's Lawyers Section.
